What we use

“theme” (localStorage, functional) - remembers the light or dark theme you picked; kept until you clear it.

“cookie-consent” and “cookie-consent-date” (localStorage, functional) - remember your consent choice and when you made it; kept for up to 12 months.

“kf:build” (localStorage, functional) - the build in progress, so it is not lost if you leave the page by accident; kept until you clear it. A shared build travels in the link parameters (?b=...), not in a cookie.

“session” (cookie, strictly necessary) - set only when you sign in, and keeps you signed in; lasts 30 days or until you sign out.

“auth-hint” (localStorage, functional) - set only when you sign in; remembers that this browser is signed in, so the page header keeps room for the account menu while it loads. Holds no identifier; removed when you sign out, or on your next visit if your sign-in has expired.

“lang” (cookie, functional) - set only when you change the site language, and remembers it; lasts 12 months.

“attr” (cookie) - set only when you arrive through an advertising or campaign link (one carrying utm or gclid parameters); remembers the campaign so we can attribute your click through to a store to it; lasts 30 days.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) - set only after you choose “Accept all”. Google may use cookies to personalize ads; more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Site analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) - cookieless, so it stores nothing on your device, and it still loads only after you choose “Accept all”. We set no analytics cookies.

How to manage them

You can change or withdraw consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, which brings the banner back. Clearing your browser data (localStorage) does the same. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
